- Air dry your creation.
- Avoid direct sunlight, it will change the colors or dull your latex.
- No heat—keep it away from heat sources. The flames are not your friend.

6. Protecting Your Gear
- Keep it away from sharp objects—sharp nails are dangerous with latex. .
- Remove jewelry before wearing. Even the smallest snag could destroy the beauty of your piece.

How to Put on Your Missconstrued Macabre Creations Latex Garment
Putting on your latex garment is an art. It’s a delicate process—one that requires patience and care. Follow these steps to slip into something dark, exquisite, and unforgettable.
1. Prepare Your Skin
- Dry Skin is Key: Make sure your skin is clean and completely dry before slipping into your latex. Sweat, lotions, and oils can damage the material.
- Use a Lubricant: A silicone-based lubricant or a latex dressing aid is your friend. Apply a thin layer to your skin where the latex will touch. This helps the garment glide on smoothly and protects both you and your creation from friction damage. I heavily recommend adding lubricant to the inside of the garment as well. See section 2 for more info before dressing.
2. Prepare the Garment
- Turn It Inside Out: Gently turn your latex garment inside out (unless it's a zippered piece) so the inside faces outward. This helps prevent snagging. Gently roll the piece on to your body if possible.
- Work Slowly: Be mindful as you stretch and manipulate the latex. This material is strong, but too much force can stretch or tear it.
3. Step Into Your Garment
- Slip One Foot In at a Time: For pants, skirts, or tight-fitting garments, start by carefully slipping one foot in at a time. Slowly pull it up your leg—don’t rush.
- Ease the Garment Over Your Body: For bodysuits or dresses, gently pull the garment over your arms and head. Move slowly, never forcing it.
- Don’t Rush: Take your time. Latex is meant to fit like a second skin, but it can’t be rushed. Patience is key to keeping it in perfect form.
4. Adjust & Smooth Out the Wrinkles
- Smooth the Latex: Once it’s on, gently smooth out any wrinkles or creases. Never pull too hard—just guide the latex into place. If there are tight spots or areas where the latex feels stretched, ease up and give it a minute to settle.
5. Zip, Button, or Lace
- Zippers and Fasteners: If your garment has a zipper or other fasteners, do them up gently—don’t yank or force them. Always start from the bottom and work your way up.
- Lace or Buckles: If the garment has lace-up closures or buckles, tighten them slowly. Ensure the latex stays smooth and doesn’t catch or fold.
6. Final Touches
- Check for Fit: Make sure the garment fits snugly, like a second skin, but doesn’t constrict you. The latex should feel comfortable, not too tight or loose.
- Admire the Dark Beauty: Stand tall. You’re ready to step into the world in your MissConstrued Macabre Creation. Own the night.
Tips for Wearing:
- Take it off slowly too—removing latex can be just as delicate a process. Always be gentle, and use some lubricant to help it slide off easily.
- Avoid sharp objects while wearing. You don’t want anything to catch or tear your creation.
- Keep it clean—the more you wear it, the more it deserves to be cared for.
