Missconstrued Macabre is opening its doors for 10 attendees per month to learn how to create with latex! This course is an introduction to a latex. I will teach you the essential techniques for designing, cutting, and gluing rubber sheeting to create custom garments from scratch. In this class you will make your very own crop top or tank top!

What You Learn: 

Material handling: Cleaning, prepping, and understanding different thicknesses (gauges) of latex sheeting.T

Tools and equipment: Using rotary cutters, self-healing cutting mats, glue, and pressure rollers.

Assembly techniques: Gluing flat seams, applying hems, and adding trims or hardware like zippers and snaps.

Pattern making: I will demonstratet taking measurements and altering patterns specifically for stretch and zero-recovery rubber materials.
